In order to accomplish EuPEO´s mission, the project aims to implement a monitoring system by developing the EuPEO webpage, a manual for external monitoring (MEA) at Europe-wide and country level, and a toolkit to prepare and provide Internal self-monitoring (TIM) of quality Physical Education and School Sport at the school level.
The second and third work packages respond directly to the project objectives and are intended for the preparation activities of the European Manual of External Assessment (MEA) and the European Toolkit for Internal Monitoring (TIM).
The preparation activities, belonging to the first phase of progress within the EuPEO project, involved the development of four questionnaires: the EuPEO School Questionnaire (ESQ), addressed to the Head of Physical Education department; the EuPEO Pupil’s Questionnaire (EPQ), addressed to students; the EuPEO Country Questionnaire (ECQ) and the Nacional External Learning Assessment Systems (NELAS) in Physical Education addressed to the representatives of the Physical Education National Association. This set of instruments will integrate the MEA and TIM. The toolkit for internal monitoring (TIM) will also comprise the EuPEO Learning Assessment System (EuLAS) in two versions - teacher and student. This instrument was developed on data collected in the first phase of the EuPEO Project.
At this stage, taking place in the 2020-2021 academic year, we developed the EuPEO Final Report (IO5), resulted from the country's Manual for External Assessment (MEA) and the School's Toolkit for Internal Monitoring (TIM) pilot application at the end of 2019.
