The SNEP (Syndicat National de l’Education Physique) is a professional associations for Physical Education teachers in France. Members of the SNEP teach in schools, universities, sport clubs and universities. The SNEP – (National Trade-Union of Physical Education) is the French trade union of PE teachers. It has been created in 1926 and is the only specific trade union in France and in Europe. The aim of SNEP is the promotion of PE teachers and the place of both PSE (Physical and Sport Education) and School Sport in the educational system, as a real part of the school common culture, a PSE based on the teaching and learning of PSAA (physical, sport and artistic activities).

The French Physical Education teacher union is a beneficiary of the project with responsibilities to host the second project meeting in March 2019 and on the French and Europe-wide data, outputs and dissemination. SNEP’s National Secretary MsC. Bruno Cremonesi is the partner coordinator and researcher.
