The Hungarian School Sport Federation (“Magyar Diáksport Szövetség”: HSSF), founded in 1987, today is probably Hungary’s largest sports federation. It has received public benefit status according to Hungarian law which means that the activity of the organisation is recognised by the state as of public interest. The mission of the organisation is contribute to a healthier and more active Hungarian population by focusing on the youth and the promotion of physically active lifestyle and health-enhancing physical activity.
HSSF, a civil organisation for Hungarian youth sport and education, is a beneficiary of the project with responsibilities on the Hungarian and Europe-wide data, outputs and dissemination. HSSF research team comprises its Senior Consultant Dr. Tamáas Csányi as the partner coordinator and researcher. HSSF will be supported by Dr. Zoltán Vass as observer.
