The EUPEA Board Meeting took place in Florence, Italy from the 22-25 of February 2018. Many topics were discussed for example Advocacy: (a) how to improve communications between EUPEA members, (b) co-operation with other European Associations, (c) participation in Erasmus+ Projects, (e) further research and future publications and meetings. EuPEO Project was presented by Bruno Cremonesi from EUPEA, in the Seminar “Erasmus+ Projects in Physical Education”, organized by Italian PE Teacher Association CAPDI & LSM.
The kick-off meeting of Erasmus+ Sport Projects, accept in late 2017, took place in EACEA Sport Unit, Brussels, in 31st January 2018. At Brussels meeting, Project Coordinators from all 2017 Erasmus+ projects were clarified about the latest policy developments in Erasmus + Sport Programme; administrative issues and project management; dissemination, exploitation of results and contractual obligations; and financial aspects.
EUPEO´s coordinator institution, Faculty of Human Kinetics, represented by Dr. Marcos Onofre, was at Brussels meeting in order to prepare and clarify relevant information to all project partners.
In January, the EuPEO was launched at the Faculty of Human Kinetics (FMH), University of Lisbon, aiming to build a system for monitoring the development conditions of Physical Education, School Sport and other forms of promotion of School Physical Activity in the European region.
This three days meeting aimed to launch EuPEO project, assuring the discussion and understanding of general administrative, dissemination and financial decisions to be included in EuPEO Administrative Handbook, EuPEO Webpage, and bilateral agreements. All the 1st part project activities were prepared, namely, those concerning the EuPEO´s data collection instruments (ESQ, EPQ and NELAS).
